The breakfast is enjoyable with coffee options, good quality ingredients and good coffee, has everything you need.

Wonderful accommodation with nice location by the football field. Brand-new extremely pleasant room with a nice size bathroom. Location close to the restaurant, a delightful village, great base to travel around too and Meifod.

The toys for children in the room kept them entertained, making our stay easier. Breakfast took a while, but it was delicious and enjoyable for the whole family.

The evening steak dinner was exceptional and the attentive manager ensured all our needs were met, but the dining area felt slightly cold and lacked ambiance.

great walking access to parks and charming local landmarks

I enjoyed my stay in a spacious and clean room with friendly staff, made the experience pleasant, and being just a few steps from lovely parks made my city strolls good.

We stayed in a cozy glamping pod that had underfloor heating. The beds were super comfy! Enjoyed drinks at the pub and a really nice breakfast. The place is clean and well-maintained. Don't miss the local trails nearby for some hiking!

One downside was the rude behavior from some staff at the pub. The service felt unfriendly and off-putting. It marred our experience slightly.

Great stay, comfortable room, with a lovely breakfast that fueled my exploration of the beautiful countryside, making it easy to venture out and enjoy nearby attractions like the scenic walks.

Just an excellent fit for a lightning stop in Meifod with best value. Dinner was kinda surprising, especially the well-cooked stew. Make sure to check food availability before arrival.

Had a fantastic time enjoying some excellent roast lamb and the best plum and blackberry crumble ever after a long walk. I also loved relaxing on the sun terrace and having a drink by the fire pit. The only downside was a bit of noise from a late evening event, but it didn't spoil my stay at all. 🍴

The kings head hotel is a gem! The double room we stayed in was super comfy n clean. We got a warm welcome as soon as we arrived, was like home right away. The food was amazin, especially the lamb, cooked perfectly! Breakfast the next morning was also great with a good variety.

Can recommend for a weekend escape

Cozy room, friendly staff, and excellent amenities made our stay good, as we enjoyed the comfortable quadruple room with a kettle for tea and free parking , made exploring the area easy.

We arrived in time for dinner, where the atmosphere was cute and our meals were excellent. My husband had the best steak he's ever eaten, and my starter was substantial and delicious. The young staff were friendly.

We had a nice surprise staying in the pods, which turned out to be a peaceful retreat. The included breakfast was fantastic, and the spacious family room was a hit with my adult children.

My children wished there were better options for families, like more spacious sleeping arrangements or additional amenities in the pods.

The staff were great throughout our visit.

More soundproofing needed to reduce noise from pub.
